|  | The UWF Telefund is a nonprofit organization sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Foundation, raising unrestricted academic support to enhance the quality of education at UW-Madison. Each year we contact approximately 150,000 UW alumni and parents by telephone; this year we hope to raise $4.3 million in support. We are currently recruiting fundraisers, who will contact UW alumni across the nation discussing the funding needs of their alma mater and asking for their support. This position provides excellent communication and computer experience, and is also a valuable resume entry.

| Training and Pay-Rates | | | New employees are required to complete three two-hour training sessions. Applicants must be available for these afternoon trainings (usually between 2:00PM and 6:00PM). The training wage is $7.25 per hour. After completion of initial training, the fundraising wage will be $9.00 per hour. Performance bonuses are offered and additional incentives are often available for the recruitment of new staff members and for working extra sessions. Performance reviews, with the opportunity for pay raises, are offered to all fundraisers frequently! |

| Hours | | | After training, each fundraiser chooses 3 calling sessions for their work schedule. Sessions are 5:30-9:00 PM (Sunday through Friday) and 2:00-5:00 PM (Sunday afternoons). Employees may work additional sessions with a director's approval. |
