We’re interested in everything the Waisman Center does. We also believe that we should give back to our alma mater. William Willis (’50 BA L&S, ’52 LLB LAW), married to Doris (’50 BS L&S) |
| In this time of intense interest in education and rising expectations for the performance of schools of education, there are many ways in which private support can enhance the work of UW-Madison's outstanding School of Education.
By investing in a school that is a national leader in many areas, donors can exert a lasting effect on the quality of education, both at UW-Madison and in K-12 schools in Wisconsin and across the nation. The School prepares students not only for teaching, but also for careers in the arts, exercise science, school and community counseling, educational administration at all levels, and in the disciplines that inform and guide education, such as history, philosophy, sociology and psychology.
The School of Education presents a wide range of opportunities for donors to make a difference. The five areas identified below represent some of the School's highest priorities. |
