| Recruiting and retaining a world-class faculty will be the single most important factor in determining scientific and educational excellence for pharmacy schools in the 21st century. This will also be the greatest challenge, as competition for the best faculty continues to intensify. A strong faculty raises the caliber of education, research and expertise available at UW-Madison Wisconsin and to the community. To attract the best, Wisconsin needs competitive salaries, guaranteed support for research activities, a solid research infrastructure, a superior intellectual climate and a welcoming and inclusive learning and working environment. are all required features for attracting the best to Wisconsin.
Gifts to support the Pharmacy Forward Fund (for faculty excellence) and/or to establish faculty scholar appointments, chairs or distinguished chairs will significantly strengthen the school’s ability to recruit and retain world-class educators, researchers, and scholars in a highly competitive marketplace.
