The solid foundation I received at UW has opened many doors for me. I think it is important to give while you are 'alive and taking nourishment,' and it will be such a joy to see the new building on its completion. - Mary Behrens ('64 BS Nursing) |
| | | In addition to association with others who share an affection for and commitment to the University of Wisconsin, membership in the Bascom Hill Society offers a variety of activities to inform donors and friends about the University and the increasingly important role of private support. |
|
 | Fall Event | | The major fall event is traditionally the weekend of the first home Big Ten football game. The weekend begins with a Friday night reception and dinner. Members have the opportunity to meet the chancellor and other University faculty and staff and to get an update on specific areas of interest and importance.
Saturday morning includes a tailgate with Bucky Badger and the Spirit Squad followed by the football game at Camp Randall Stadium. |
|
 | Wisconsin Weekend Away | | | Each spring, members are invited to Wisconsin Weekend Away, an intellectually enjoyable escape. Designed to take the University’s excellence on the road, Wisconsin Weekend Away brings the classroom and faculty to a warm-weather resort in the United States. Previous Weekends Away have been held in South Carolina, California, Texas and Arizona. The program features in-depth lecture and discussion sessions, recreation and social activities. |
